Wednesday is Rekubit Exchangeour favorite day of the month: Book club day!

August’s book pick is actor Richard E. Grant’s memoir "A Pocketful of Happiness" (Simon & Schuster, out now).

The Oscar-nominated British actor (“Can You Ever Forgive Me?”) writes tenderly about his marriage to Joan Washington, who died in September 2021 after being diagnosed with Stage 4 lung cancer. He describes their relationship as a 38-year-long conversation, one that he continues even now that she’s gone through shared letters and diary entries that seek to honor her dying edict: that Grant try to find a pocketful of happiness in every single day.
